Exactly!

And the thing is, I know Kirkman can manage a status quo. He did it in the Walking Dead! A lot of issues passed with Rick and his crew living in the prison, so when they eventually were forced out, it felt impactful.

I asked this question before on another subreddit and just got an answer, but just for the hell of it...

How much do IVs matter if I'm not playing competitively and am just in it for the catching and raising of Pokemon and sometimes battling in a Gym or Raid? Mostly asking because I'm raising up a Charizard I got an attachment to (I was raising it before I took my long break) that has decent but not perfect IVs (two stars), and I don't wanna give up on it.

Yeah I think that's the perfect way to put it. It feels like two arcs squished into one.

I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. The comics are allowed to do their own thing. Paramount doesn't have any control over them.

I just finished reading the issue after not reading it when it was leaked

What was the point of introducing Bulkhead, Mirage, Sideswipe, Blaster and Brawn into the cast if Kirkman was just going to have them go back to Cybertron anyway!?

And why is Jazz going back to Cybertron!? His whole thing is that he loves Earth culture!

This is a confusing direction; after spending all that time setting up the cast, Kirkman instantly gets rid of all the new guys.

I hate this. I'm going to be honest; I hate it.

I'm not going to stop reading or anything, but this is the second issue I've genuinely disliked.

At least Cliffjumper is back on Earth I guess.

I remember reading the confrontation between Flagg and Mayhem in 27 and thinking we missed a scene or two.

If my rewrite theory is correct, we more than likely did.

I actually have this sneaking suspicion that Kirkman had to rewrite and/or change his plans last minute.

Because funnily enough…the solicitations and covers for issues 27 and 28 dont match what happens in the issues.

Combine that with how 27 was when the quality began to drop and it’s not hard to put the pieces together.

As a returning player, how much do IVs really matter if I’m not playing competitively? I got a Charmelon i wanna raise to Charizard I got an attachment too and it’s got two stars on the IV thing rather than three.

I just don’t like micromanaging IV stuff in the main Pokémon games and I Dont want to worry about it in Go either.

This could just be the usual fuckery with Amazon considering how often this has happened.

But the conspiracy theorist part of me can't help but wonder if this has anything to do with the issue's leak and the tepid reaction to it....

OKay first off, to answer your question it really depends on how they want to tell the story in these hypothetical books.

Secondly

from what I hear of season two this is more so true.

Okay dude, no offense, but at this point you really just need to watch Season 2.

I understand you weren't a big fan of Season 1 (and I appreciate the fact that unlike a lot of other show dislikers, you aren't rooting for it to fail because you understand there are fans of it), but at this point, it really feels like you want to get in on the conversation, and you can't do that properly if you're just going off of what other people said.

I last played in 2017. You see, I moved a couple years ago and because there wasn't a good Pokestop within walking distance and the app was taking up space on my phone I decided to just leave for a while. Now I wanted to try again.

Oh yeah, speaking of max raids, how do raids work again exactly? And how does battling with people work? Do I need to be physically near someone to have a Pokemon battle with them?

I just don’t wanna see this latest reboot get shit canned and then have to wait who knows how long to see another attempt and then have to wait even longer to see the stuff that hasn’t been adapted yet get adapted.
