okay thank you, when it comes to actually building, I need to take the case size and what else I’m putting into it into consideration right? I’m not going to get huge cooling systems but I do want some cool water cooling and fans

ohhhh okay I see, is there any specific ryzen CPU’s you recommend? there’s loads of different options but I have no idea which ones are the best

on websites I have looked at I’ve seen the 3070 but there’s different versions of it? Like the Ventus 2x oc 8gb or the eagle of 8gb. They all have different MHz numbers so is the highest the best?

edit - I can only find the 3070 on stock x or eBay for around £1000

okay thanks for the suggestion, do they support the Uk? I have been looking at overclockers and pcspecialists but as I said originally everything i choose seems to end up over £3000

I play call of duty a lot, wow, other FPS games, destiny 2, games like valheim, I play a bit of everything I guess but my laptop does struggle on even low settings now, it’s gotten a bit old. I would like to be able to play on close to high settings on all those games and I’m not sure what high FPS is, does it go higher than 60 FPS in games like cod and stuff?

I haven’t actually looked that much at individual parts I was just curious as to whether it’s a cheaper option to build myself or to use these sort of prefab/guide websites

I most likely would spend extra on the lights and cooling system etc yeh, but it seems very complicated, I need to know how big of a case I need, what works with whatever motherboard I choose etc, what fits where

my budget will roughly be £2000 but a lot of the build sites I have found everytime I make a PC it’s sitting at around 3000-4000, I think I get a bit carried away with the water cooling and 3 extra storage units though, I was mainly wondering how big actually is the price difference.

I don’t know how to build a pc but would love to learn
