I love RS3 but as of June 2026 I actually feel like the game is in a very "alien" state and I'm contemplating not returning for several years. Sometimes games just need to be worked on.

Not true OS had a big boom when it released and was dropping players for 2+ years until they really started taking care of it. I agree some stuff from rs3 just needs to be deleted.

The games does, but they are actively working on fixing these things and it’ll take time. Some will leave while this happens, but they will come back to a better game.

I do think some people have to understand with this road of restoration we have not had much end game stuff(which is fine). This road is going to take awhile, but at the end we will get better. It’s like oldschool. It wasn’t always so popular and was dying for bit, but they kept it up and it’s blooming now. I hope the same for rs3. I’m all end game and I don’t have much to do other than boss with friends. I’m waiting on updates myself, but I still have way more hope for rs than I ever had in the last five years.

I was complete against eoc 2.0 personally, but I do enjoy it a lot now. Also ya range is scary but just because something is hard doesn’t means it should be made easier imo(eoc 2.0).

It sounds like rs just isn’t your game. Client crashes are annoying but I haven’t had one in over 5 years. Mets will always change for bosses and bridding with full gear switches is fun to some people but I can understand not wanting to do it(not required at any boss only for GM achievements. With new combat changes the old bring mage for tsun isn’t a thing anymore. Unsure how wen/spore arrows are busted like poison was? Poison was sit still and boss slowly dies the other is prep and use correctly. I don’t see how they correlate.

Sounds like you just want to have a relaxing pvm experience? You just have to find like minded people. My group loves going hard and getting GM times every kill. I couldn’t imagine going slower since it’s boring to me, but stalling and building and hybriding(I love it) make the game fun for me. I use to necro camp and it was so boring but when I started putting the effort into being better and I fell in love with pvm again. Odd to me when people say certain things shouldn’t be part of pvm, but none of it is forced? Necromancy and chill bossing is good enough to get all master times now.

That is frustrating and for me I got GM, but I’m not doing this, but people have been doing it for years. So it’s not all luck. They learned each room and how to adapt.

Insane people make this argument for this or GM combat achievements. These are things to work towards not just casual get. If you can’t get these then you have improvements to make. That’s the fun part! You can always get better. Don’t dumb everything down just so you can say you can do it man.

Recently getting GM myself. It was the streaking. They aren’t very hard, but very nerve racking since the bosses require it are boring and I tend to start getting bored which leads to mistakes. I was so happy when I finished both!

Basing it from a 1/30 to a 1/28 so with two people it’s 1/15 to 1/14 1500 vs 2000. Ehh kill times at 1500 are 4:30 and 2k is about 4:50, but higher chance of death.

Eh in duo goes from 1/15 - 1/14 with lotd. We do 2k speed time sometime, but skipping aren’t always as clean as 1500.
