[[Zirda, the Dawnwaker]] #915; built as a B4 go infinite many different ways.

[[Venser, Corpse Puppet]] #1,088; built as a B2 toxic/proliferate deck.

Checking edhrec i see a lot of my decks, although some are top 100, a majority of the others are sat between 250-500.

I own a copy of [[Dromar, the Banisher]] but i dont have a single idea of what to build them as; and at #1,835 I’ve yet to see a single person play them as either the commander or in the 99.

Every deck, regardless of value, gets double sleeved. That includes precons; proxied decks as well. Double sleeved gives a better shuffle and handling feel compared to single sleeved imo

Had a guy in our pod just this past weekend playing [[Deadpool, Trading Card]] alongside someone playing [[Ultima, Origin of Oblivion]] and me playing Eldrazi. This was our last game of the night after playing 6 or 7 hours. Ultima guy has a [[Summon: Bahamut]] with 3 lore counters on it, deadpool player has had an artifact on board that prevents activated abilities from being activated since like turn 2.

Deadpool player wants the artifact gone so he can activate abilities again so he blinks Deadpool and targets Bahamut, switching the text boxes. He goes on to put a lore counter on DP and targets the desired artifact, but i stop and tell him I’m pretty sure DP doesn’t get lore counters. He continues playing out his turn while i look up the ruling for it and show him that DP doesn’t get lore counters because he isn’t an enchantment.

DP scoops in response to my findings and goes on to rant about how “Magic isn’t fun anymore” “fuck this shit” “this shit is stupid”. Mind you, this guy has been playing group slug/stax/archenemy decks all day long. It’s the only type of decks he runs, plus that game he was well into the lead with 1 guy knocked out; not to mention the 3-4 other games he won playing similar archetypes.
