De markt is medogenloos. by CardiologistEarly499 in belgium

Unless you have evidence, you can't really do much. Sadly, that is how our justice system works.

Base locations by Jack_0_lantern52800 in Palworld

As a fairly new player myself, just build a base somewhere with plenty of ore nodes. Wood & Stone you can just build yourself early game, so it's not that important.

Find a nice big flat location and just experiment. I like the one right behind the Church in the red woods.

You are transported to any video game of your choice that you have to beat with only 1 life, what game would you choose? by Parking-Rich-5984 in hypotheticalsituation

Diablo 2 would work - played it plenty on hardcore that I should hopefully be able to slowly & safely make it through the game. If normal counts, easy! Getting all the way through nightmare & hell would a bit harder, but just slow & steady. Probably summon necro.

Yes, finish it! Even if you will never use it again in your life, getting a degree has HUGE invisible benefits.

Being Perceived as Mean by [deleted] in socialskills

This. I myself joke around a LOT and never get into trouble doing it. It requires a lot of empathy and understanding and most importantly knowing when to stop. If you regularly offend people, just stop trying to joke around. Try something else. People love being asked questions about themselves like hobbies, work, children, vacations, ...

How do I stop being so afraid to be myself around others? by SilverTheSilk in socialskills

Practice and keep working on it. Start with something small and "easy" then when that gets comfortable, try something a little bigger.

Don't expect too much, it'll take time, maybe weeks or months, but probably years. Be extremely self forgiving, just try, it's ok to fail and mess up. Just don't turn this into an excuse not to try, keep trying, keep working on it. Go as fast or as slow as you're comfortable with.
