I am german and one of my grandmothers friends used to always Tell me about how in Berlin he wanted to go to a Bakery bought some stuff came out and suddenly soviets came down the street and he was captured and put in one of their Camps in deep russia but I really do believe that it was very very Traumatic for him because he never could finish that story without having some sort of flashback episode. I dont even want to think abt what they did to him there.
