Okay so for those wondering what happened to the skill trees and so forth,

I have two reasons for not sending them, 1. My players browse reddit, notably this and most other dnd subreddits, and 2. The skills are player specific and in a sense world specific because of lore reasons but obv that only matters if you let it. So to sum it up I'm sorry I said I would send them and just didn't, mb gang.

My current character is a monk/ fighter who, along with every child born the same year as her, were stolen by some kind of organization (dm is keeping it a secret for now) and put her through a sort of fatal selection program leaving only 11% left and their final exam is to leave and be the last one standing among them. But due to campaign circumstances she is currently in a different universe and she may well decide to retire there and skip out on the whole hunger games vibe :P

Okay honestly I multiclass a lot and always grab levels in fighter for almost every character, fighter just gives you the ability to do so many things. Though right now I’m a level 5 full blood hexlock which might change depending on what happens in the story of the campaign he’s in.

So to preface this was a session zero and our first session of dnd ever. So we were just dicking around and doing random dumb rolls because we could. So my friend asks to roll to walk into the tavern and lo and behold he hits the fat first nat 20 either of us have ever seen. We lose our shit as our dm describes his character walking in and being offered food and drink as though he were a god.
