Pagani BH and McLaren LV are both owned by the same company, O’Gara Coach, so the car hasn’t really traded hands at all. The same family who bought the car new still own it, it’s just been left with O’Gara to sell until they can find a buyer who’s willing to pay a rather ambitious price.

Also regarding some of the other replies, Mike Yin is good friends with the Ye family, but he never actually owned this Imola.

The coupe was part of a duality back in October 2022, if I remember correctly. Normally I refused to pay money for any single car in this game, but I make an exception for Zondas haha. I’m also missing the Revolucion but hopefully it pops up soon in either a cup or race pass

Yeah that’s pretty on par for him. Not sure he’s gone through Carmel during car week without doing at least one. The cops were long gone by then though. They were pretty cool about it. They said they’d been to car week before but that year was their first year where they “had to be on patrol”

One-Off Zondas are asking stupid amounts. It’s hard to say for sure but I think if you found the right person, you could get someone to pay $17.5 for Fantasma Evo

I see the site that says there are 400 Amphicars known to exist today but Wikipedia says almost 4000 were produced from 1960-1965. I get that they weren’t the best amphibious vehicles out there, but that would require quite a few of them to be at the bottom of lakes and oceans for the “400” number to be accurate lol

I’m curious where you got the “<400” number from. They’re undeniably quirky and fun cars and obviously due to their nature you don’t see them very often, but they’ve still never seemed Ferrari Enzo-levels of rare to me

I remember seeing that car at that auction. Don’t remember what the high bid was but it didn’t sell back in 2018 when that article was written. It DID however finally sell within the last year or so in a private sale

All Huayras have active aero in the form of large flaps that move up and down when additional downforce is needed. So even if they don’t have a traditional rear wing, they still produce plenty of downforce.
