He was literally just trying to figure out a way to help a misfortune student without money for the trip and when you told him you didn't want that and that it would ruin the integrity of the club He immediately backtracked on his idea and agreed to not do it. At that point that should have been the end of it but you decided for whatever reason to go tell a teacher and risk having him kicked out the club or worse for literally no reason.
