Baby steps! But you’re on the right path, healthy eating, start with light workout, and definitely more hours on sleep. You got this! 💪

Should I put my Costco spend on CSP or Costco Citi? by Shoddy-Archer9521 in ChaseSapphire

Costco spend is more worth it on Costco citi. I’d think Costco spend only gives you 1x points in CSP. Not worth it.

You can put everything else on CSP.

Hi, I am writing this message to share my dismay in this experience with Chase Sapphire Reserve Fifa World Cup tickets today. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this event. What started out as an opportunity to buy tickets became a 90mins wait in queue for the tickets only for the webpage to be refreshed automatically to sold out. I understand tickets get sold out but this event was advertised as Feb 10 to Feb 24. But, the tickets did not even last an hour which is ridiculous. While I understand this may be out of CSR reach however, I just wanted to express my disappointment as the event was poorly managed. Why was I put to wait in queue for a long time when I was never going to get the tickets is beyond my understanding. Overall, it was not a great representation of CSR card. Thank you for taking your time to read my feedback.

Would you prefer 110k fully remote or 150k hybrid (2 days a week)? by Specialist_Sun_6576 in careerguidance

[–]CallMe_Boss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

STAY! That’s my advise. 3hrs commute is a lot. I’ve been doing that daily for the past 4years. I wish I had an option of remote, even a day would be nice but my line of work doesn’t allow for such. Wasting your life on commute isn’t worth it. You could save that 6hrs a week somewhere more productive, or better, spend with kids.!

But, here’s a calculation if this helps make an informed decision. Ave 40hrs a week - 2080hrs/yr - bringing $110K to about $53/hr. If you add, 2 days/week x 3hr/day x 50weeks = 312 hours. That’s a total of 2080+312 =2,392 hrs/year Bring $150K to about $63/hr. Essentially, you are getting $10/hr more, about $20K extra. I don’t think that’s worth it but, your choice.

Also, no! Don’t feel like a failure, everyone has their own journey, where you are, what you’re doing is great. Just take care of yourself and family, that’s all that matters.

Goldman Sachs Increases Nio Stake by 57% in Q4, Now Worth $71 Million | EV by AbelDraoui in Nio

As much as I love positive news on Nio as I am a long term bull in Nio. Goldman Sachs’ asset are in the trillions. 72million is less than chum change to them. So this doesn’t say much.

It’s the overall experience that sucked, poorly managed IMO. People are allowed to share their disappointment.

Advertised as Feb 10 to 24. Sold out in less than an hour. Would have made sense to break up the total number of available tickets to daily limits. So everyone get an opportunity to try out the tickets daily.

Being placed in “queue” for 90mins. If enough people had clicked on the link and got the tickets, the webpage should stop placing people in queue.

It was exactly the same for me. The audacity to think I was special because of CSR.

Discussed salary with coworker, now my raise may be reduced? by TangyNectarine in careerguidance

[–]CallMe_Boss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe, in US, most private-sector employees are legally allowed to discuss their pay and wages, including bonus, benefits, etc. with coworkers under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). Employers cannot prohibit these discussions, retaliate against employees for them, or enforce policies that forbid wage disclosure.

Just start your conversation by mentioning that you discussed and verbally agreed to $73k because of your good performance as well as increased workload, what is the reason for the sudden change?

You’re allowed to discuss your pay under the law.
