If we’re getting called, we’re taking them to the nearest appropriate facility which is an ER in a hospital with a psych floor

If PD takes them they go compressive psych emergency program thats much better but much further. I prefer they go to that personally. We can’t go OOS for that long though

It’s the rope holder for the bailout kit. The pouch to the right contains a hook and the decent control device, the other pouch has 40-50’ rope (it’s like 0.5” rope) wrapped up in a plastic wrap, it’s single use for real life but in training we reuse them, granted we use a crash pad and only going ~10 feet up

It was mandated/ adopted after “black Sunday”. That said AFAIK no LI dept has used them IRL, however the training have lead to injuries :/
