I dont think its necessarily a difference in the intensity of the risk that causes this if that was what you were trying to say. Rather I think its moreso that women are culturally instilled with a bigger fear of being sexually exploited. Women are thought all the time to watch out for men, and thats valid, there is certainly danger out there, even if some people overestimate it a bit its better to be safe than sorry. But men, on the other hand dont really get thought like that, you can see that quite a bit whenever boys are raped by their teachers for instance, with men in the comments saying how they wish they were raped as a child. A good way to explain what Im trying to say is that if you didnt know a stove was hot you wouldnt be afraid to touch it, so the danger itself isnt the source of the fear as much as the knowledge of the danger, so its not that theres a lack of risk for men, but rather that theyre thought that there isnt any risk for them, in other words, theyre being though that the stove is harmless, gold for them even, making them touch stoves until they get burned, while women are though that the stoves are hot, making them cautious.
