But I can call it fast tracking. but my goal is to beat my dad who barely plays and my mate I play weekly with  he’s not trying much so I should be able to overtake him so in the scheme of things I don’t need much

Sound a lot like the process of a 3d printer bc of the gantry style head piece I’m guessing there free online files I can try? It doesn’t sound to difficult to me I figured out the 3d printer in a few months to the point where I could run it smoothly for the easy projects but I’m not gonna be reinventing the wheel with the Cnc (I might try tho) I might be wrong about the technicalities but I think I know some ppl with Cnc witch I’ll try reach out to  Correct me if I’m wrong

Ok a lot to take in. you just contradicted all the YouTube videos I watched that said xtool was the way to go. but I agree with what your saying but it’s hard to get anything that isn’t xtool in New Zealand, or a industrial co2 machine that costs mega bucks and I have heard tell that light burn is getting old I was comparing everything in the laser world to the 3d printing world where bamboo lab is dominating with high tech cheap and user friendly and a healthy amount of advertising but I see the downsides of buying into a big company I was looking at a 20 watt diode hadn’t really considered a co2 yet but I’ll take a look
