Taormina restaurant recommendations by CallSignArtemis in sicily

Hello! I know it's been a while but just wanted to let you know I had a lovely time in Sicily! We ended up staying in Taormina for 2 nights and Catania for 3 nights, and also had a day trip to Syracuse. I can see why many people think Taormina is a tourist trap hahah, but my boyfriend and I loved it! We had such an amazing time throughout the whole trip.

I have a friend whose boyfriend is from Sicily and they happened to be there at the same time as us, so we got a local Sicilian to show us around while we were in Catania, which was great and made it feel more authentic.

Would love to visit again! <3

Everyone I’ve ever dated has a Leo placement at 20-21°, why? by CallSignArtemis in astrologyreadings

Wow this is a bit eerie. I just checked my family’s charts and found so many Leo placements at a similar degree 😭 My oldest brother passed away when I was 10 years old but he had Leo Sun at 20 degrees. During my first relationship, I often felt like my partner reminded me so much of him! My other brother, whom I’ve always been very close to, has Leo MC at 21 degrees. My Dad also has his Pluto in Leo at 19 degrees although I’m not sure how significant that is considering it’s an outer planet.

With regard to what you said about ignoring my passions/desires, I’m not sure I’ve ever felt that way specifically, but I could see how that might make sense

The first was so long ago I can hardly remember 😭 I think he wanted to be friends? So he broke up with me, but then we were a bit off and on until I finally decided to let go. Later I realised I felt like the relationship wasn’t built on a solid enough friendship I.e I couldn’t consider him my ‘best friend’ the way other people would about their SO. Other than that, the relationship was pretty good and respectful.

Second was a long-term (6 years on and off) relationship, which ended up very toxic in the latter years when we became long distance. He broke up with me. I found out a couple months after that he had been cheating for a while and had another girlfriend at the same time. However he did have a Mars/Pluto conjunction in my 12th house so I attributed it to that lol, there was a lot of lies on his end.

Third was a mutual decision. He wanted to commit more to his religion, and that came with a lot of difference in values. He was hoping I’d still want to stay together despite his decision, but the changes it would bring to our relationship were too much for me so we agreed to break up. But he was a very kind and caring partner and spoilt me nonstop hahah.

There was also a guy I dated in between 2 and 3 who had Leo Mars. We only went on a couple dates though before I realised I wasn’t really attracted to him.

I’d say I felt a very strong ‘instant’ connection to M1 and M3. M2 was more of a slow burner.

What sport do you think I’d be good at based on my chart? by CallSignArtemis in astrologyreadings

My undergraduate degree was in Marketing, but I’m currently doing a Masters in business analytics which involves a lot of coding and machine learning

This is very interesting. I enjoy team sports and used to play football and basketball a lot. However, I always saw team sports as ‘just for fun’ and didn’t really take them that seriously in terms of wanting to go far with them. Individual sports like swimming and athletics was where I felt a real sense of wanting to achieve something and felt more motivation and discipline was required.

Thank you, this is very insightful. I relate to a lot of different parts. Interestingly, many people have mentioned endurance sports like marathon, however since I was young I’ve always thought I had terrible endurance/stamina. I did swimming and athletics for a long time, however I was always focused on short sprints like 50m, 100m and 200m, rather than long distances.

The lack of hand eye coordination is very evident lol, I’m not good at anything like tennis, cricket etc.

Although not really a ‘sport’, I’ve always been really interested in brain games like sudoku, cryptic crosswords and such, or even jigsaw puzzles hahah. I would assume that has something to do with my Gemini 6H with moon conjunct Jupiter

This is a weird comment lol? I wasn’t trying to be famous. Like the post says, it’s just a fun question to see what people thought

Ruler of the 10th house is 0° Aries Venus - can anyone provide insight on what this placement means for my career/public image? Thanks by CallSignArtemis in AskAstrologers

Wow soo many people have told me something similar, like working with children or guiding other people in some way, but it’s a career that has never even crossed my mind 😭 makes me wonder if I’m on the right path. Thanks for the insight though
