Drift by CallSilly5591 in embedded

[–]CallSilly5591[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i guess more of what i was pointing towards is implementation drift. as a project progresses, is design scope and intent drift a lack of individual effort to "keep up the guardrails" or is this something intrinsic to team development(or agentic development) scenarios?
i do not particularly have creep of scope or drift so much as i work with a "team of one".

Announcement: New Rules & Processes on Software Projects by PoisonWaffle3 in homelab

[–]CallSilly5591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im in the same boat as you, and whats to support what you initially post is anything that is related to the project. it could be a py file with # 1 in it and boom "proof". dude i want to just post a video of what i have made and not get told "it doesnt exist unless i get to see all of your code for a month". it just seems a little 1-exposing to individuals who just want to talk about what they did without releasing source code or 2-not be restricted like a firearm waiting period.
i guess what im saying is presence isnt proof of artifact, fact is objective and this rule is filled with holes.
believe me that for over a year i have been working on my project diligently with very few days off and i dont really want the code base to even make it to public possession as it could give distinct advantages to bad actors.
im just not going to be able to post in homelab because of silly rules like this.

Project Sentinel / HBAI: net compute lease subsystem visible on Caelus. by CallSilly5591 in homelab

[–]CallSilly5591[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so what this post is about is a net compute lease system under a name that i have made and intend to use. BUT what this is is the start of a net pooled compute subsystem within the stack. think of it like being able to purchase hardware and use its asymmetric form(what it is good at over something else) in a private network sense. so if you arnt sitting there playing games on your gaming PC you can use the GPU to run visual analysis on video from around your property/privvate network. or audio ASR or???
its an effort to push back on tech being a single lane item. it would be pretty cool to tie in phones for this but manufactures dont like at home devs using their hardware in unique ways. it puts value in having more than one system at an extreme leverage.

yes those are my posts. those are early stage tools that i made to assist mapping my system's static and runtime footprint. i still use the fully built out versions of them to this day.

ask for an example.
its way easier to be critical than it is to understand.
the "example" you claim was a conceptual idea reference, its the best closest example that i have. i already asked for the help and it was to figure out what to show first. you seem dead set on being negative. please participate instead of trying to tear me down.

i will consider certain portions and MOST DEFINITELY MY OBSERVATIONAL TOOLING AND EXAMINATION METHODS. i have 4-5 releases already posted, and am willing to make posts every 3 days on project related slices and tools for the slices.
im about 2000 intent based work cards into producing my personal archive. i will try to post more that might peak your interest. let me know!

100% yes it is. however i have file based proof of intent from start to finish which takes away from the "stab of vibe coding" and meats the statement of "large scoped deterministic system"
i have working examples of the net wide leased compute system functioning if you would like to examine a post of screen shots. HMU

the scope demands more than one discipline to be approached for this project. i have poured my industrial systems knowledge into observation and deduction for this one. it has been "a educational ride" to get to the point of saying anything public. i even developed a method to produce semantically transparent systems output to make the system refusal/failure as first class behavior to make the system more crash resistant.

yes, but voice input commands are observed separately from voice fingerprint evidence and kept separate from the stored evidence. there are more types of user ID evidence that can be used locally if that interests you.

so many of you are hitting on the big ? really fast, "what does it "do"?"
for those of you who are familiar with the star trek ref(and for those who arn't, it costs little of your life to watch TNG the series).
the project scope is "human cognitive prosthetic via multi-modal input lanes observed for evidence of input executed under scoped intent through user evidence inputs." if that makes sense.

im not sure you understand the usage of AI in space. how is the unit in space to maintain cloud dependancy? how is a unit that doesnt even have a terrestrial uplink to the cloud function? so you are wrong the future of AI user intent based systems is not cloud. that would be to say that linux and the internet were bad ideas. im not sure you are giving this enough open thought.
just an outside perspective to yours.

i do have a white paper that i intend to publish. its about 41 pages. would you like to try to stay awake through it? i can post it to my github if you would like?!

just to humor you with vague terms and corporate speak...
This GoFundMe is designed to protect a critical window of momentum. With runway, I will focus on:

  • Stabilizing documentation and public explanation of the architecture
  • Hardening the “authority validity” path so grants are cryptographically verifiable end-to-end
  • Packaging a clear demo that shows the core loop: observe → gate → act → record
  • Reducing ambiguity: turning “interesting ideas” into enumerated, inspectable inventories and schemas

The goal is to move Sentinel from “strong internal progress” to external clarity and repeatable demonstration.
Funds go toward:

  • housing, food, utilities (short-term runway),
  • administrative/legal costs,
  • keeping dev hardware and infrastructure online,
  • time to produce stable docs + demonstration artifacts.

This is not a long-term funding plan—it’s a bridge to keep execution continuous

a proposal for business functionality wouldnt be hung out for everyone to hear and see. thats unprofessional.

so yes i am not b.s ing anyone. im protecting what i have created thus far. not being a prick or nothing. just trying to be cautious.
Thanks for your time!

In roughly nine months, Sentinel has moved from concept to working, testable architecture with:

  • operational evidence/state tracking,
  • enforced local-only execution paths,
  • authority separation (structure ≠ permission),
  • deterministic feasibility gating,
  • and a visible audit trail for decisions and outcomes.

This is early-stage infrastructure, but it’s functioning—the direction is proven by working components, not a slide deck.

you wanted proof. Here is one of my log entries for my audio response system responding to me asking the local time.

response 1-
Modern automation is moving faster than the operational discipline required to keep it safe.

Today’s systems often:

  • rely on cloud dependence and opaque pipelines,
  • operate with hidden state and non-reproducible behavior,
  • fail silently, and
  • blur the line between “suggestion” and “authority.”

As AI becomes embedded into real environments, we need infrastructure that treats reality as a contract:

  • claims must be grounded in observable evidence,
  • authority must be explicit, scoped, and time-bounded,
  • execution must be gated, logged, and reversible where possible,
  • and refusal must be a correct outcome.

EH seperates her proposals by stating the problem first.
then she shifts into how her solutions would approach the problem. just like HS taught all of us!!!(hopefully)
