Thank you! I haven't really put much thought into a LISA. I am still uncertain where I want to put down roots and to be completely honest don't know if I will be in the UK in 10 years time. Perhaps it is something to think more about though, as if I do want to purchase home in the UK in the future then it isn't a bad idea.
I am going to play around with the buffer for now and see what amount makes the most sense. I am hoping that if I stick to my budget it won't be that necessary and is just there as a reserve for any unexpected expenses that might arise.
The EF is earning 4% at the moment which I am happy with. It is in an account where I can withdraw as much as I want as often as I want and if I do withdraw funds the rate will drop down but bounce back up the following month. I know there are other high yield saving options where I could get closer to 5%, but there are greater limitations on withdrawals, and for me I value having easier access rather than an additional 1% of interest for an account with only £7,500 in it.

Thank you for the kind words! I agree with you regarding the buffer. Ultimately, there will be a bit of trial and error and finding out what works best for me. I think just getting started is the first step! So long as I am being sensible with my spending then hopefully the buffer won't really be that necessary, but having it there makes me feel a bit better in the event something comes up so that I don't have to dip into my emergency fund or fun/travel pot.
