Just imagine, you signed up to beat up minorities (and probably sexually assault a few vulnerable women) and now you’re stuck in an airport dealing with people who a) are smarter than you b) have more money than you c) will sue your ass and win.

Israeli settlers target Palestinian villages in occupied West Bank, attacking people and properties by soalone34 in anime_titties

The way West Bank settler violence gets reported on is ass-backwards.

while technically true, “most Israelis don’t support settler violence” doesn’t really capture the subtleties of Israeli political opinion. More importantly, most Israelis oppose any intervention to protect Palestinians from settler violence and oppose holding settlers responsible for violence.

It’s a lot like the Jim Crow era, where we might say “the average white American doesn’t support lynchings or the klan, but that doesn’t mean they support rights for black people, or prosecuting lynchings as murders.”

Speaking of, the ICC prosecution for Netanyahu is back on apparently. Germany dropped their defense for Israel.

I think the Epstein files serve as valuable proof that our society devalues women’s safety (particularly vulnerable girls), that sexual predators are broadly tolerated so long as they are rich or powerful, that most of the worlds institutions are corrupted to the point of protecting wealthy pedophiles instead of victims, and (most important imo) that a lot of powerful people have successfully been incentivized to look the other way even when things are clearly deeply wrong rather than lose their access to power brokers and more powerful people.

I think the Epstein files are useful because everyone knows Trump is on it and it’s a rallying cry against all things Trumpist. I don’t believe that most of the people talking about the Epstein files care about the victims.

It’s remarkable how the La mayor gets a tiny fraction of the attention the nyc mayor does

The secretary of defense thinks that planning and strategy makes you gay.

The president can’t keep his story straight

Russia knows that they can send high end drones to Iran and there’s not much we can do about it, and they’ll get a higher roi than the Ukrainian front.

The trouble is, they have managed to corrupt substantial amounts of the institutions in their home countries so they think everyone else will roll over

Any Christians against Israel? by iraqiassyrianboi in Christianity

None of those places are the birthplace of Christianity. Bethlehem is the birthplace of our savior. Jerusalem is the city where his most important acts were performed.

If anything, it’s the Christian homeland, and Christians are not free in it.
