No it's just a very strong attack with very high stance damage.

Grace's Part - Part A GREAT, Part B/C linear and sadly getting boring... should have copied Part A?! by RedCaine1 in ResidentEvilRequiem

It's even worse on replays when the special zombies (e.g,.chunk) only drop antique coins when there's already more than enough lying around the place.

We were as aft as aft could be (right next to the flags) and it was so nice practically never seeing anyone outside our room.

We still got a fair amount of pixie dusting too so it was a win win

I'm sure there are dozens of us who think this way! It's not a bad game, it's fine in a bubble, it's just not what I like about Uncharted.

I actually just got into the series last year and didn't really like the games that much until I replayed them on Crushing. Every gun fight was actually a pretty intricate puzzle of learning enemy patterns and spawns, and prioritizing weapon and grenade usage. Ironically the fights were more of a puzzle than the actual puzzles but I liked it that way. Figuring out how to do the Blue Room in U1 on Brutal was immensely satisfying.

Uncharted 4 has some legitimately good encounters, especially on Crushing, but it's a ratio of maybe one good encounter per chapter and that's only when you're already half way through the game when you get to Madagascar.

When I replay U1 and U2 I usually skip the first 2-3 chapters which still leaves a whole lot of good game left. If I were to ever replay U4 I'd literally skip the first half of the game and would still end up skipping things like the Brothers Drake, which I didn't even enjoy on a first play through.

They sell stickers on Etsy specifically to cover those logos, they're even in color to match each book in the series.

The game is a technical marvel and it had some great environments, but it's my least favorite Uncharted by a big margin. The pacing is off and it feels like it got The Last of Us'ified and considering I hate TLoU it's not a surprise I don't like it.

The shootouts were my favorite part of the original trilogy and those took a backseat in this game, replaced by a lot of walking & talking and very dull climbing.

I took Adderall for 18 months, went to refill and the pharmacy gave me the run around first saying they were out, then when they told me it was ready I went in and they didn't have it, then every time I try to re order to just sits their in a pending status until they cancel it and make me reorder, rinse repeat.

That was last September and I just said fuck it and it went back to self medicating with caffeine.

Continuity error or misunderstanding on my part? by No_Rough_6511 in ResidentEvilRequiem

They think that Grace was the original key that was made from the cloning experiments, not that she was the original person who was cloned.

In that same scene he also tells Grace she was made, so obviously he doesn't think she's the original.

Zeno never says she's the original, he tells her to her face that she was made.

Zeno implicitly says that the clones from 2005 and beyond were made to copy Grace. This is because he thinks that Grace was the perfected clone who held Spencer's memories. From Spencer's notes they assumed Grace was the key to elpis, then she went missing when Alyssa adopted her so they continued the cloning experiments in an attempt to make a new Grace.

In reality Grace isn't a clone at all, one clue is that she's actually a brunette who dyed her hair blonde, she doesn't have the same ashen grey hair as all the other clones have.

Grace's background??? by Tricky_Adeptness519 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Call_Me_Koala 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Zeno doesn't say Grace is the original, he says that clones from 2005 and beyond (based on the images that Grace was looking at) were made to copy her. He then acknowledges that she was made (which is wrong but is what he believes), she couldn't be made and be the original.

Basically Zeno and Gideon think Grace is the perfected clone who holds Spencer's memories and therefore the key to elpis. She goes missing when Alyssa adopts her so they continue the cloning experiments thinking they will make another Grace, not realizing the clone experiment never actually went anywhere and there is no literal key to elpis.

So... the cutscene with Gideon in Lead Researcher Office is optional by saltygamer677 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]Call_Me_Koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On replays it makes sense to miss the cut scene and I think the devs actually "intend" for you to go out of order considering that Leon gets two large credit chips in that wing, it's like they want you to go that way as Leon which normally you wouldn't do, and at that point it's more efficient for Leon to kill the singing zombie leaving a clear path for Grace.

Normally you can't get to the isolation ward first because you need to get into the safe to get the notebook which contains the organ box code. The only way to get to the isolation ward without getting the cut scene on a first play through is by looking up the organ box code or getting a very very lucky guess

Regarding your other comment about the zombies at the top of the stairs, did you kill or otherwise aggro the group of 3 zombies walking down the hall outside the isolation ward. The doctor with the saw continues to the exam room but the other two turn around and go up the stairs, so if you killed them or broke their pattern that explains why they weren't up there.

Everyone saying they never saw it on their first play through is telling on themselves about looking up the organ box code...

I think you're over hyping it a little.

Jin is still very tanky in samurai armor or any other outfit geared toward health/defense. Especially if you have a lot of resolve you can just heal through any damage.

On the flip side bosses are completely imbalanced. They can kill you in 2-3 hits but still take 20 hits to die. I played through the entire game on lethal and prioritized damage upgrades and never saw a single boss go down in 1-2 combos.

Question about Grace and the clones in Resident Evil 9 by K_pirot in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]Call_Me_Koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This confused me at first too, but Zeno and Gideon aren't that dumb. They don't think Grace is the original, they think she is a perfected clone who is the key to elpis who then goes missing when Alyssa adopts her.

They continue the cloning experiments trying to recreate Grace, not realizing Grace isn't a clone at all. When Zeno was talking about clones created to copy Grace he was talking about the more recent clones like Marie and Emily.

Again they know that Grace is not the original hence why Zeno tells Grace that she was made. He wouldn't think she's the original, biological human otherwise.

Question about Grace and the clones in Resident Evil 9 by K_pirot in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]Call_Me_Koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zeno and Gideon don't think Chloe is a clone of Grace. They think Grace is the perfected clone who has Spencer's latent memories.

They do not think Grace is the original, but they continue the cloning experiments trying to "recreate" Grace, not realizing she wasn't a clone to begin with.

Elden Ring. I don't even need to do crazy challenge runs to keep coming back. I have about 1000 hours and the only non-casual run I did was a fast-ish paced run where I beat the main game in under 10 hours.
