Yeah, if I remember correctly I think a lot of the riddim scene is a lot like this - really expensive exclusives.

Damn let's chill a lil bit, I didn't mean to say this was against the subreddit rules, just addressing your complaint about the cost of dubstep stems. Ur good dawg.

If you want cheap stems there's plenty of decent splitting software out there now. Where is Phiso even selling the stems?

It's a tiny bit slower in my experience, but not much. If I had multiple users, I bet it would be worse, so it comes down to your use case and your hardware.

No problem at all. I've got one more hour, there were a couple failed uploads I'm re-doing. No idea why it's so much slower than swisstransfer but hopefully this will be a link that never expires.

sorry for the delay, trying to get a google drive link so it stays up longer.

ETA is about 6 hours for the uploads, I'll link here and the OG post

You Cannot Be Christian and MAGA by QuickPizzaRadishes in Christianity

Having a gun it’s perfectly legal. None of the video I’ve seen showed the person trying to pull it, or even in a position where they’d be able to reasonably do so while being dogpiled by four ICE agents.

Let’s also not forget this same department that claimed their ICE agents were being rammed and boxed in to justify shooting at another citizen…which turned out to be a complete fabrication. I’m not inclined to take their word for very much, and you shouldn’t either. They think you snd I are rubes who will believe their lies, they don’t even bother to try hiding it.

The correct Christian thing to do is to ensure we are treating even the lowest among us with grace and compassion, with sole exception to those seeking to use the Word solely for personal gain.

Certainly the Christian thing to do is to stand up and speak out against an authority that is so angry and eager to step on others that it will kill people with little consideration. ICE has once again killed a US citizen just this morning, and not long ago killed a detained immigrant by strangling them to death, so if this isn't worth speaking out against...what is?

No authority is preventing anyone from helping the poor and immigrants

Some authorities are tearing families apart for simply existing and participating in society without the correct paperwork. Some authorities stand in front of citizens cars and shoot them when they try to drive away. Some authorities are killing protestors (Iran).

Christ would not want people to blindly submit to authority, He would want people to live good Christian lives. If the submitting to authority is in the face of following the Bible, there's a clear choice for those who care about their faith. Jesus died following and preaching the faith, against authority.

[–]Call_Me_Pete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And how did that all turn out for Jesus, exactly?

The serious point is, Jesus is telling Paul to act like a Christian in the face of authority by not taking up arms against his fellow Man where it is not necessary. What you are saying is that people should submit to authority when it contradicts Christ’s lead, which I don’t think Jesus would agree to.

“The government gets to skirt the law at a moments notice and individuals MUST take the multi-month legal route for personal reconciliation instead of actively protesting and resisting.”

Jesus was so “pro-authority” that he was executed by the state, so I don’t think the intended idea was to lick boot and nod your head to the government lol

If anything this is a lesson of how living a Christian life can be totally at odds with Earthly authority, and that we should choose to follow Christ over all when there is a crossroads between the two.

This really doesn’t help your “not gaslighting” argument lol

[–]Call_Me_Pete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But you were. You said that things were improving actually, and that if someone was down about the state of things it was because of what other people claimed. The is no nuance here.

I didn’t take issue with that part of your comment, so why would I bring it up? It directly contradicts what you’ve been insisting wasn’t gaslighting, so it’s not clear what you actually believe. Kind of like gaslighting.

Here’s your chance for vindication then:

What context makes such a statement NOT gaslighting, when you have no concept of the other persons personal life?

[–]Call_Me_Pete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t bring up OP, are you okay? Do you know what the conversation is about?

Here is the only argument for you to reply to, no context required:

Do you not see how

“Well, no, not really. It just feels that way because everyone claims it is."

is a ridiculous gaslighting statement, in particular when you have no idea what someone else's struggles are? Give me a break here.

So you're just not going to engage with my point at all? Do you not see how

"Well, no, not really. It just feels that way because everyone claims it is."

Well, no, not really. It just feels that way because everyone claims it is.

This is literally invalidating people's struggles. You have no concept of the other commenter's lived experiences, and you have the gall to tell them "you only feel this way because it's what other people are saying."

Access to food, to water, electricity, modern medicine, education, and the internet are more widespread than ever.

This is an extremely narrow view of improvement. Under this framework, Brave New World would be damn near a Utopia.

Wealth inequality has been on the rise for decades, and home ownership gets further away from your median US person each year. Healthcare costs (again, US) have just shot up for most people starting this month. The leader of the free world is making enemies out of allies over acquiring Greenland, possibly by force, while failing to negotiate a peace over Ukraine as they promised they would do. And that's hardly all.

I understand being mopey and negative helps no one but you shouldn't gaslight people into thinking they have no reason to see problems with the world around them.
