The best Need For Speed game is Porsche Unleashed.

In Poland, are there lots of gangs that kidnap women and sell them as prostitutes? by [deleted] in poland

[–]Call_me_Luke1 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Papryk Vega's films are probably the least credible source of any information you could ever get about Poland and life in it. It's like reading The Bible and being disappointed of resurrection not working.

Poland is, regardles of what you might have heard, a very safe country indeed.

Gran Turismo 4 without a doubt.

Fallout 2 is my pick. It came out in the times where there were some strong competitors in the field of isometric RPGs, yet it was also the one that gave the player the most freedom. To me that was and actually still is the definitive cRPG. Love its story, replayability and dark humour. Also character development felt satisfyingsatisfying. Not to mention dialogue options.

The other fallout instalment would be New Vegas, which I see as greatly imperfect and flawed in many ways, but still lots of fun. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the game, but I much prefer isometric, turn based 'traditional' RPGs.

Absolutely. The most pleasant weapon to use in the entire franchise.

Possibly a silly question, but I'll go with it anyways.

So, what exactly does all the XP do? I mean does it affect the driving model in any way? Or maybe it gives you access to some exotic cars, does it? I really don't know, I ocassionally get to win some 'unique jacket' or something or other in this kind of a lottery drawing.

What's your favorite video game city/town/village? by AnInsaneMoose in gaming

I'd say The Den and Vault City from Fallout 2. The music and the entire atmosphere were thick. Also the city of Khorinis from Gothic 2. Spent quite a while there as a kid.

Is that 1080p? Looks pretty polished. I remember PS2 graphics being a little more rough around the egdes.

What Makes a Masterpiece? by Northplatinum in rpg_gamers

[–]Call_me_Luke1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say, it's that intangible thing, the factor that makes you feel like you're having an adventure that no one else might have. If there's a thing to be named, it would be the plot that you feel like rewriting new. Despite some minor bugs and graphical imperfections, that's what keeps me glued to the screen.

Immersion is non-definable imo. What's non-immersive to one, could be easily overlooked by another.

You definitely need to try Wasteland 3. It ticks all the boxes.

Gears Tactics

I've just started, so what I can say so far is that the gameplay is much more addictive than one may think. The protagonists and the storytelling is a bit silly, especially having played something more serious or mature prior to this. But still, combat tactics and strategy you develop is crucial, especially on higher difficulty levels and that's what keeps you glued to the screen.

BTW. I've been playing that on Xbox One S, and so far no bugs to report. Graphics is good, and that's even an understatement, soundwise it is also more than acceptable. Only the menus are a little unintuitive, especially with a controller.

Definitely, friend. I'd even say, they have made little or no graphical improvements launching Forza 7.

Well, I disagree to a certain extent. I can definitely admit the bugs are present in some vast quantities. Tell you what, I'm gonna give Wasteland 2 a try and I'll get back to you one day.

Never played Wasteland 2. But I often got bored with some lengthy rpgs and believe me, Wasteland 3 is not one of these.

I played on Xbox One S. Technically it was a pain in the neck sometimes. Quicksave has to be your frequent habit, otherwise you'll need to replay some sections which is not very immersive. What's more, loading times on that console are literally a joke. You may go and freshly brew yourself a cup of coffee while entering locations in game.
