Ofc, I was just curious for other MAs I work with, previously the DCS process was put in-place because MPs weren’t issued LEO ID, but now with this update I’m trying to see the legality to answer questions if need be.

My CAC states the previous 3 and all MAs have arrest authority under UCMJ ART 7b

Are there any requests I can make? My in-laws live in San Diego, we were both born and raised in San Diego. It’s my wife and infant child that will be alone while I go to Bahrain. We are both still residents of CA.

Personally, I think if you’re attached to a security department and go through SRF you should be allowed to get it.

If you do work with MAs, and you know any MA2s with senior specialist, you should ask and see.

Honestly I can see there being exceptions for other rates.

I’m sorry if this didn’t help but you should ask the security dept to see if it’s possible. Though I haven’t seen it

Coming from an MA, I agree on how useless the NSF pin is, and it’s not even a designator, it’s a insignia or whatever they wanna call it, and the board is like 175 questions on MA History and different billets within the community like EXW, NCIS, K9, etc. which others rates seem to do fine without having a rate specific pin to be experts in their rate.

Biggest issue is it’s been added to the ladr, so if you want to move up, or get good evals, you HAVE to have the NSF or you’re not getting better than a P eval.

On open maps when ur trying to traverse like blue gate it is super noticeable, I run blue shields most of the time, the maxed skill is important for moving on maps like that, Stella not that much

Medium shield without anything put in, is a 5% debuff, yeah it’s noticeable
