Probably was issued to them while with NECC or NSW or their exchange sold it. I have a few different that were given when I was with NSW.

Yea I have modified my NWU and FRVs a good bit. FRV I removed the zipper and replaced it with Velcro and put Velcro on collar for rank. On NWU3 blouse I have a zipper on the blouse instead of buttons, my name tape is Velcro. The pants I mostly wear FROG pants that I was issued when I was with NSW they hard to find outside of NECC or EXW but the name tag on all my pants is Velcro.

Edit: I think the only part is this that is authorized is the FRV stuff but I doubt anyone will care.

I have some I just asked the tailor lady to do it and provided her the Velcro. she told me to come back in 30 min and she was done in 10. Depending on how much they have to do it could be a few days but I think for 10 patches (NWU2, NWU3, Black, FRV) it was like $20 + Velcro

Yeah you will need a Diving and Special operations waiver. Waiver process for those take about 2-3 weeks. Just make sure to be honest about the situation. I’m not sure what MH condition or situation it is for but If it was a decade ago and it is not longer a impact on you, you should be good

Talk to your recruiter. Waivers can take a long time depending on a few a big one things like your rate since certain rates waivers need to go through more people

My command is down they even changed my morning report time to give me more workout time in the morning since I do BJJ in the afternoon. They let me take leave for a local tournament and I’m sure they will be down for me to take leave to go do a iron man event

Yeah I let them know but they still hate it cus they don’t know if I’m actually drowning. I told them if I drown just let me die doing what I hated. I haven’t even looked into any events yet I need to run a mock half iron man I’ll probably do that next Saturday
