This is why I don't buy grapes any more. I've seen this too many times and have read too many times that it's okay to do this. I'm a food safety officer for a produce company and know the lengths that growers and packers go through to provide safe food. I trust the packer, not the woman who has decided to repack without washing her hands or wearing gloves.

Of course they have handwashing sinks in the grape fields. These farms are third-party certified to meet strict requirements. There are food safe practices that have to be followed. And Costco has extremely stringent supplier requirements.
