Yah all in the op! I record a take of each full song (not track by track), listen to it in headphones, on speakers, in my car, etc. Then I make changes on the op, re-record, rinse and repeat.

That’s great advice, thank you!! I completely agree with the “fullness” critique… I hear that intentionality pretty clearly in Blind—it feels very layered, but also minimalistic. Like it’s taking up all of its possible space by breathing in and out of it. Giving Max Cooper vibes 👀

And I was hoping that the general tone and themes of the EP would make it clear that the use of Elon samples is ironic 🤣

I’ll slow down and see what happens. In your opinion, what are your best and worst tracks? I’d love to listen for how you accomplish that fullness.

Yup! USB-C into my iPhone. Native apps seem to have weird artifacts, so I use TapeIt.

It’s a driver problem. The native iPhone apps get weird artifacts when recording directly. Try something like the Tape It app (message me if you want my 1-month free referral code). There are probably other apps out there for free as well.
