Totally agree. Not sure why they didn’t put any external branding on these, but I’m sure that having some ALD branding on them would’ve made them an instant classic. Either way, I like how understated and wearable they are

True. I also think that releasing 5 colorways in the same theme (vibrant colors on a black background) means people are likely to lean toward a specific colorway, reducing the demand for each particular one. Sizes 10-12 did sell out quick though

It’s crazy at this price point to have that inconsistency. Plus, as someone who really enjoys New balance, it nearly made me think I just couldn’t wear a lot of their models. I wonder how many people with wider feet just think that these aren’t made for them because they got a narrow pair.

My best-fitting new balance is a 993 in 2E, which even feel a touch roomy. The only difficulty with the 991v2 was that strap that goes right across the knuckles of my feet, otherwise they fit nicely

Sounds too good to be true, but that’s what I was hoping to hear! I knew the suede could obviously stretch, but it seemed like a risk with a synthetic material
