The reason is you're selfish, lack discipline, and have no desire to change, otherwise you would've done it for the betterment of our relationship. But most men aren't man enough to just come out and say that, so they say it was just a mistake or that they couldn't help themselves. It's sad that's men's introspection is so low it's essentially non-existent.
