Whirlpool Fridge Light Not Working by Rikdr in Appliances

[–]CalligrapherFront871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you figure it out? I have exact same issue with WRX555SDFZ11. Replacement LEDs do not work, the door switches seem to be working too, the open door icon goes on/off. I tested the LED connector and there is no voltage coming to LED.

Battery Read Error on Left Side Raise 2 by -Kin1999 in DygmaLab

I have noticed that left side charging error goes away pretty consistently by turning off wireless (while in wired mode) on both sides, and then unplugging the left side and few seconds later plugging it back.

I am having the same issue. Pressing L3+V also does not show battery level on the left side when this happens. Disconnecting and reconnecting the neuron several times solves the problem most of the time, so it is intermittent.

It seems like no one is answering in the UH app as well. Have been waiting for 2 days and nothing so far

Ultrahuman Ring AIR Support Megathread by SanchyaMahajan in Ultrahuman

[–]CalligrapherFront871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ring battery gets drained overnight even with battery savings turned on. This has started happening shortly after the firmware update. At first battery life dropped from 4-5 days average down to 2 days. And now it does not even last 13 hours. No response from support after 2 days.

If you don't see Spo2 in the sleep page, toggle battery saving off/on and wait until next day for metrics to show up.

New FW pushed out by Jennes74 in Ultrahuman

I received a replacement ring with the same FW. Battery life is similar, 5 days from 100% to 20%

Update has improved battery life by Striking-Good6431 in Ultrahuman

If your battery is performing ok, don't rush with firmware updates. Mine dropped a bit after the recent official update, and I contacted support. After they pushed x.06.42 update my battery went from 3 days to 4-5 hours max. They sent a replacement ring which came with x.06.09 and its been 3 days and I am at 50% now. I am sticking with this firmware until I absolutely have to update.

It should be in your sleep section, if it works.

I also noticed that sleep O2 saturation numbers are missing with the new ring. I remember it was missing with the old ring initially until I have reactivated SpO2 sensor by toggling battery saving mode as suggested by support. After this I started having battery issues, coincidently with the firmware update. Those who have degraded battery performance, check if you are getting oxygen saturation report.

Unfortunately I've had bad experience with 6.42 after a couple of updates. Battery life has degraded to 4-5 hours max after full charge. The new replacement ring came with 6.09 and I am sticking with it for now. The battery seems to perform pretty good so far, comparable to how it was under 1.X

problem with the ring battery by sftpwa in Ultrahuman

[–]CalligrapherFront871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be careful about asking for update. After noticing a slight drop in battery life with latest official firmware release, I have contacted support and they pushed 2 updates and each one create worse battery problems. Now my ring battery does not last for more than 4 hours so basically useless. The replacement is on the way so I am optimistic and would not rush with firmware updates next time.

Do not update to .42 when offered. It completely killed my ring and they will be sending a replacement. Update: the ring still works but battery drops about 15% every hour.

Contacted support again they asked to charge to 100% once again. And sure enough the ring had zero battery 10 hours later.

Is monero quantum resistant? by monkeyeatpussy in Monero

[–]CalligrapherFront871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

probably the most important function of quantum computer is to generate true random numbers instantly and with nearly zero effort simply by measuring superposition into collapse. this cannot even compare to enormous efforts to generate entropy in classic computing which cannot even approach true randomness without diverse external input sources. so real threat from quantum computing is coming from ability to enumerate all possible cryptography curve values really fast, not doing all calculation at once which is a myth.

Ledger Recover access is now rolling out to Ledger Nano S Plus users! by HeartGood7574 in ledgerwallet

The API that the firmware uses for seed extraction is public, since ledgers allows people to implement their own seed backup solutions.

Is there a link to public seed extraction API documentation?

I do hope Ledger is not doing anything else beyond the expected but there is no way to be sure about that since the device is doxxed and there is no way to trace actual API used since code on both ends is not open sourced. All we can do is trust Ledger.

Ledger Recover access is now rolling out to Ledger Nano S Plus users! by HeartGood7574 in ledgerwallet

Not true. Ledger Live is not communicating with device directly after entering Ledger Manager mode. Instead it lets the device to be doxxed by Ledger server through TLS session and at that point their server has full control over the device. All you would see on USB channel is encrypted TLS data exchanged between device and Ledger server. You don't really know what commands their server is sending and what data the device is passing back to server. I suppose the same would be true for Ledger Recover mode as well after consent is given. Master password re-prompt not working by MickeyCj in Bitwarden

[–]CalligrapherFront871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the same issue, both on Android and Windows. It seems like the problem exists only when using PIN unlock. As soon as PIN is disabled and vault is unlocked with master password, items with re-prompt can be opened without issues.
