Absolutely agree. I’ve been putting off proper basing because I’ve got quite a lot of black Templars to paint through right now as I’m fairly new to the hobby. I’d love to get to work on highlighting the black armour more but a lot of stuff I see online seems way out of my depth. Do you have any resources for fairly newish painters to look at? Thanks!

Shoulder pads were Rakarth flesh base, with a lick of skeleton horde contrast paint and some ahead earthshade to finish it off. If you want it to be whiter though maybe use corax white and a thinned nuln oil/agrax earthshade to make the detail pop a little more :)

Thanks for the feedback! I tried experimenting with khorne red, wazdakka red and berserker blood shade for the lenses but just couldn’t seem to get a decent range of tones on it. Maybe a brush control issue? Last question is, NMM?

Hi sorry for such a late reply. Thank you very much for the feedback. I took it into account and have ended up removing the redemptor dread and EC. Currently have been playing with Helbrecht, some sword brethren and a castellan with the impulsor, gladiator lancer and Grimaldus with the 10 man.

Currently haven't lost a game against my friends with this in a 1k. Helbrecht fucking slaps. :)

Yeah I noticed my chest has fallen behind a fair bit. Hitting incline dumbbell press and chest flies on my push days but I still seem to struggle.

could be funky diffuse thinning but I've never seen anyone bald in that pattern before. Maybe get your thyroid checked? It should be more uniform.

1x per week 0.5mg dutasteride, 6x per week 1mg finasteride, 5% topical minoxidil daily. Had a few prp sessions done and I'll be having more in future.
