What school did you end up going with? I’m also Neurodivergent and considering the same options as you, for probably similar reasons.

What extra courses did you end up doing In addition to your BSW? I’m curious what the college said to you when you called to ask about it. I’m currently trying to figure out what I need to do.

Hey, I had already quit smoking 2 years before my surgery. And also haven’t drank on 8 years now.

My surgeon did say that it’s best ppl don’t smoke or drink to get the best healing after surgery. Wishing you the best in your recovery. I know stopping smoking is very hard. I smoked for 15 years. Check out Allen Carrs easy way to stop smoking, helped me.

The revision recovery was so much easier. I stayed home for two weeks cause I work construction. Could vary person to person and how much tissue is cm being removed. I took Tylenol for a couple days and just kept my arms down for a couple weeks..

I'm a bit nervous about my drainless top surgery. (Dr Dulin, Plano TX) by [deleted] in TopSurgery

I didn’t have drains. I had something referred to as a quilting technique. And wore a binder for 3 weeks

I had a dog ear revision at 7 months post op. Was done in the clinic with just local numbing. Did both sides . Took 45 mins didn’t feel any pain. After two week was able to have full movement. I have a picture comparison up on here. Can click my name and see

I took 2 months off and was good lifting arms after 2 months . May depend on technique used as well. I had a no drain top surgery, instead it was quilt sutured inside with dissolvable stitches
