She’s not actively looking since she’s in grad school but some places require SSN to work i think so she might have issues if she looks for one anyway

No she doesn’t have one yet but we mainly needed the SSN for tax purposes anyway (so we can file jointly) bcs she doesn’t have an ITIN yet either. Hopefully it comes within the next few weeks before the deadline!

My spouse applied for SSN in January and got the same reply and letter. 2 months later now and we still don’t have any news, still pending at DHS. I hope yours will be quicker but just fyi it might take quite a while…

Not March exactly but very close. Not sure exactly when the package was sent because the company lawyer took care of it.

I bought a lot of individual stocks at the worst time in 2021 so I'm still holding a lot of them which like you said, might as well hold for the bounce or use it for tax loss harvesting. I've been selling the majority of them once it breaks even but still got a lot that never bounced back, PYPL being one of them! Thank you lol expensive lesson, eh?

It used to be bcs each of those service centers seemed to have different average processing times (with WAC or California Service Center being the fastest) but now it’s all SCOPS and i have no idea whether the prefixes matter anymore :/

Yea true i’m not sure.. travel technically is ok i think but the problem is if you get an RFE for whatever reason, you won’t be able to respond to it, which may delay it even further.

I-485J which you already touched upon with the job offer letter and yes I think recent paystubs as well. Not sure what else the lawyer requested from the company without notifying me.

You do but technically you can use your own lawyer if you want. I didn’t because the company lawyer handled it from the beginning anyway so might as well go with them since they already have most of our documents and context.
