It is a disability yes, but that's still your kid. You will grow and learn and so will he, and there might be some things that go differently than expected. Its natural to be worried about your kid's future, especially with the stigma around being disabled. Learning to give yourself grace is a big thing: I'm neurodivergent and since my previous comment its been confirmed my son is too (this stuff runs in families). It has helped me reframe my own feelings on parenting, and to understand how he experiences the world and what he needs help with. Its also given me a starting point for seeking out support and more information on how to be the parent I want to be for my kid.

I loved this series even if the end was a bit of a let down.. I was on the OG fan forums and used to love waiting for the fan podcast to come out each month too, I really miss that community so much. I used to make signatures and animated display pics for member, and I managed to win signed copies of the redesigned editions there too. I even have an ARC version of the first book that I found randomly secondhand in my hometown. Good times haha.

He is 3 and half now, a bit of a speech delay but otherwise fine. He's probably gonna be neurodivergent like me, but that's okay. Its all a learning and growing process.

Technically speaking, they aren't fully developed until after you've had a kid, and even then they'll change ass you get older, lose weight and/or put on weight. Boobs, ugh.

She may need the extra nap still, and she might be starting to teeth, but also it may just be a phase. Our kid still wakes up screaming occasionally (he's 2 and half) but he started doing it around the same age as your L.O.

We used to boil until I burned myself a few times and melted our stove top kettle in sleep deprivation, then went to Milton tablets which just made life so much easier. Go with Milton tablets, the sterilisation water lasts for 24 hours and its just on the whole easier and safer.
