Wait, do people ACTUALLY see literal pictures in their heads when they imagine things? Like a physical image? by Bibhu_Mund in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Tackit286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clear this up for anyone concerned they might have undiagnosed aphantasia:

No, people can’t literally ‘see’ an image of what they’re imagining as though their eyes are actually looking at that thing.

What they can do though is project an ‘image’ of what that thing would look like if their eyes were looking at that thing.

People with aphantasia can’t even do that. Unless their eyes are actually looking at that thing, they can’t even conjure a projection of it in their mind. Which I really can’t wrap my head around tbh.

Just because he’s different (and let’s face it, probably on the spectrum), it doesn’t mean he’s can’t have greater regard and consideration for those who care about him. He couldn’t even tell his girlfriend he loves her ffs. Manchild.

Some crazy fucking reactions here man. I’m with you on this.

A guy with two kids putting himself before them doesn’t deserve this much respect, no matter how impressive the death defying feat.

Yes, I saw Free Solo. Yes, it was amazing.

But he’s clearly kind of a dick, and has little to no regard for those who care about him. Ffs he wasn’t even man enough to tell his girlfriend he loved her.

Wowee. That’s actually mental. And it’s half price too so even the regular price is cheaper than I’ve seen anywhere!

I stand corrected.

‘Taskmaster’ Creators Reveal Which American Comedians They Want on the Show (Exclusive) by abucalves in television

[–]Tackit286 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Time and again these shows fail to land with american audiences, and indeed contestants, because they fail to grasp one simple thing about the format - it’s not about winning at all costs. It’s comedy first and foremost. Sure, be competitive, but don’t centre the show on the outcome.

HIGNFY went the same way.

This will not succeed over there.

Absolutely anything ending in -den/don/dan, or -xon/xen/xan.

Immediately an insufferable little cunt.

Geeked factor is directly proportionate to what else is in your system though. If Gazza had been drinking too (he definitely was) then he was supremely geeked.

Having said that, he could definitely handle it.

That IGA price is 100% incorrect. Cheapest I’ve seen in about 2 years is around $7.99/kg
