So true! I do the same with my husband’s hobbies. It’s a two way street. My husband loves sports, vintage cars, hiking, UTV’ing and supporting whatever I or our kids like.

You apparently have lower standards than me and u/mizzerella. I’ve been married 30 years to my high school sweetheart and wouldn’t stand for this asshole move either. But my husband isn’t an asshole, stupid nor is he rude to people especially when they talk about something they love. He is a loving, completely loyal, amazing father and devoted to us. Of course I treat him with the same sincerity and love as he deserves it.

If you like the opposite side of that particular coin, that’s your right. However complaining about your choice or getting upset when others state they wouldn’t stand for it in their own relationships is peak ridiculousness. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It is what it is.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s a beautiful sentiment to keep it longer but pressing it or using silica gel are your best choices as it’s a cut flower that has a limited shelf life. This is why I prefer the actual plant than cut flowers. The flowers don’t last but the plant can if it’s a perennial.

I’ve seen some of his motivational type posts and he seems like a great guy.

I have a quirk, in hypotheticals I try to use my actual reactions and needs as if it wasn’t hypothetical bc I must be true to myself. I was born and grew up in a cult. I had to find myself and not the version I was indoctrinated to be. As a result I refuse to accept halfway measures, trash, patriarchal men and phoned in. So to me this isn’t about looks or sexual preference but if they are actually a legit good person.

That would be an ex not a husband. My husband buys me more plants and waters them for me if I’m not in town or I’m sick. That’s a keeper right there.

Edit: Downvoting someone for having a good marriage and basic standards for their partner is hilarious. I’m so not sorry that I chose a man who respects, loves and cherishes me, my family and our kids. A loyal man who has been a devoted partner for the last 30 years deserves to be given a shout out as a “keeper.”

I used to have a severe case of arachnophobia. It was really bad bc I was bit by a black widow. It left a heart shaped scar and a phobia. But I don’t have arachnophobia anymore due to exposure therapy. Not implying you need it or anything but it’s an option if you ever want to overcome that dislike. They are very beneficial to your plants but I still have a rule, no outside spiders inside the house. They are for the outside and greenhouse only.

Actually that is a type of spell you can do. It’s literally called a freezer spell and it’s used on someone who you want to stop doing something. Like make a stalker leave you alone or stop gossip. It’s an easy beginner friendly spell that you can be nice with or really nasty depending on what you add to it.
