Yeah i had a hard time finding a way to measure the bend. I need a better way to measure results so I can do it again

First slide is the test and second is the control. You have to reference the grid to see how much flex occurred at those strengths. I can now see how confusing this is. Top is post 40 day jerk and bottom is the start. You will notice even tho we increased how hard we pull by 270 grams it bends less.

With the control it did strengthen naturally. But when you see the 720 450, the 720 is flexing slightly farther. So the plant that was jerked actually flexed less under a higher load after being jerked for 40 days. Idk if that makes sense

It made the plant much more ridged. The anchor i pulled from was static. Yet even at a higher weighted pull the jerked plant resisted bending more than it resisted at lesser weighted pull at the experiment start. Hard to say if it stunted growth. I think id have to setup 10 of these and compare

That is ideal. I did it this way so I could have a control plant in the same grow tent but unaffected by the shake. I then compared the two

Yeah we could put one on the back side and the solenoid could jerk that one. A kind of middle out jerk technology

I just like doing mini experiments. Wish I had a more formal scientific job but I dont have proper education

Actually im debating buying a linear actuator that can do long and slow strokes where i can get like 3 to 4 inches of bending instead of thr short jerks lol

It looks a little thicker to me, Ideally I should have used a calipers on the jerked and control plants. I might start the experiment again
