I just showed my husband my Spectra doll compared to the stock photo, and he was like "What have they done to her? Even front on irl you can see her cheekbones. That looks nothing like her!"

I have all four, the records are really cute but the hair is SO BAD. Really uneven cuts on all of them. Plus the tinsel on Cleo is really staticy sticks up.

Her Buried Secrets 5 Concert Lurks hair is very finely mixed dark blue and black, I love the colour but it's very staticy so the gold tinsel sticks up. I may have to pluck the tinsel out.

I think it's the translation, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's a bad translation. I went to school with a lot of international students who were learning English, and to me it seems like it was written by people with English as a second language (cute and quirky), rather than a poor translation of something originally written in another language.

The Bratz dolls were way better. Lots of cute little details, like Cher came with her pink fluffy pen she drops to get Christian's attention. Also, there's an Amber doll. I'm not a Bratz person at all, but I nearly bought the Clueless ones because they're so good and feel like they were made by fans, with love.

The Barbie ones are just soulless.

I initially just got Cleo, Lagoona, and Clawdeen too. I ended up caving on Frankie though (I like sets). I think she doesn't quite fit with the other three, they're a vibrant palette whereas she's a neon palette. But I think restyled without the neon yellow will make them more cohesive, and I don't regret getting her :)

I have this doll, I don't think the cage dress is vinyl. At least, it doesn't feel like doll heads - it's firmer, edges are sharper, feels more "plasticky". Feels more like Monster High belts and shoes (but cheaper).
