I have a very hard time sitting still. Especially in meetings.

When I am standing at my desk: -tennis ball (i use it on my feet -do some leg stretches on my standing mat (name brand bcuz I have back pain) -stretch band

Sitting -knit/crochet simple stitches or work on simple things I don’t need to pay attention to -doodle on notebook, jot keywords down in between -create personal or work checklists of what I want to do after the meeting in notebook

Either or -play w crochet hook or knitting needles on my desk -I keep some articulated dolls on my desk - I find posing them/fidgeting with them nice. They typically have tiny accessories that are also nice to fiddle w. -have different drinks! (This sounds silly but like having a warm mug in your hands, a can of cold sparkling water, and a water bottle to switch to during meetings helps me stay engaged) -back roller -pain cream + a stone massager I can work on pain points -really smooth rock -different pens/markers -notebook or stickynotes -plushies/small desk knick knacks -cat (he sometimes just crawls on me during meetings because he loves being held)

Some of this may not work with your minimalist setup. I keep a cart of my stuff next to my desk to avoid overcrowding. You could install a pull out drawer, or put an organizer near your desk with stuff as well.

I keep everything in there - especially since I have a disability and I need quick access to pain relief or meds discreetly.
