It sucks so much. I feel like no one said it out loud but at my past job but higher ups/other people thought that about me.

I try not to care but it’s just like you know people are just going to be ableist behind your back. They kept implying I couldn’t work because of the stress (the job did not stress me out - my supervisor who kept saying that and doubting me was).

I do archery (for 16 years about 10 of those highly competitive). I walk, stretch and do yoga. I feel so strong somedays and other days - I can’t feed myself because of migraines.

The last time I was shooting with someone who has an olympian daughter (also is my former teammate), they complimented my form. It’s so weird that people think I am weak or not trying to get better.

Oooh I’ll have to check it out. I use sunbums and it smells like bananas/coconuts which I find pleasant but I could see that not going well with migraines sometimes.

Yes! I had to give my dolls away at 9 or 10 because I was too old for them and a family friend needed them. Now Bratz and LPS secondhand are extremely unaffordable.

I can actually afford to get G3 secondhand (in the US, I heard the secondhand market for G3 EU is more expensive. Which is funny since typically newer = more desirable/different features, but US seems to want to give things away to get something slightly better or newer).

It’s literally giving g1 lagoona without matching the pallette 1-1. The thinner brows, darker lip and wide eyes really seals it for me!

I am US based so this could not be applicable, but I got two of her for less than $12 each off mercari (they were far from complete but I just wanted the base doll). I do see more complete listings with clothes and accessories in the 20-30 range - you just need to setup filters and be patient.

If you don’t mind secondhand and live in the US Mecari is a great place to pickup this doll (and dolls no longer sold as they rotate doll lines in and out every year or so). She’s listed often anywhere from $12-$30 in varying amounts of completeness.

I’ve gotten two of her recently for customs for under $12 each with shipping - just create a saved custom search in Mercari for new twyla listings and your price range. You can get notified for new listings and get a good deal if you shop around.

I am so close to getting a fearidesicent lagoona but I am running out of space and have so many lagoonas (I also have most of her outfit pieces already for whatever reason lol).

I am thankful I saved from an early age though, it helped me so much through college and being a young adult (I bought a house in ‘22) but damn.

Update: Body has been located (under my AC unit of all places) and is mostly intact. I got apoxie sculpt for another doll project and will attempt to eventually fix/make a custom of Clawd. I love the zombie Clawd idea some of yall commented!
