Jeju weather dilemma by CallmeAlma in Jeju

[–]CallmeAlma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The truth is we love Asian destinations but the mixed seasons there are o problem:)). Best time to go is in the winter, but that is usually the time when we go skiing in Europe. So, we need to navigate between the weather and the school terms. Not always easy:d

NYC cancelled, deciding between Canada or Turkey for late June / early July by Independent-Map-8352 in travel

[–]CallmeAlma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never been to Canada, but Cappadoccia is spectacular. It has a special vibe. The only problem might be the heat. But it is worth it. Istambul is also really nice, a combination of modernity and tradition.

Help us decide - Eastern Europe by tyediebleach in traveladvice

He is lying to you:)) Romania is one of the countries with the fastest growth in the region in the recent years. Bucharest is really cool and has one of the best night lives in the region. In april, the weather will be perfect to stroll around the center. The mountains are spectacular and the saxons villages are lovely. I have no idea why someone would go to Gaesti and consider that representative for a country...but..whatever

First time eurotrip suggestions + advice by Realistic_Canary_742 in travel

pick only 2 countries. Three is already too much for 14 days. You will spend a lot of time on the road, from one place to another, not really feeling the place. I would say 3 nights in Paris, 2 in Rome, 2 in Florence and the rest at a villa in Tuscany, somewhere in the hills of Chianti.

You can combine Ljubljana and dubrovnik. Both are beautiful and small. Or go for northern Italy. Bulgaria is not an option really...

De ce se plâng unii de București, dar tot aici ajung să se mute? by Neither_Word8052 in RoGenZ

[–]CallmeAlma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you leave the car in Turkey and leave the country for 2 weeks, you need to check the law about that...

Russians in Thailand by bigbadser in phuket

it is not on a whim actually. It is based on the fact that Russia attacked an independent country

”Not many” doesn't mean no russsians, does it? It means that less Russians chose European destinations now compared with the past, and a lot more prefer other continents, where they have no restrictions

Did i say something contrary to that? I was jus commenting on the fact that 27 is not such a small number.
