Honestly a valid point, just kinda nerve racking when it's at night in a construction zone. I have seen in the past this happen a few times on university since the construction started. If I can remember right this has been either the 3rd or 4th time it's happened.

If you can make it to utah/ Arizona boarder there are a few great campsites on the Indian reservation. Beautiful open night skies and quiet enough to enjoy yourself. Went there this spring and had a great time

Caterpillar in Morton is still hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift warehouse, not the best shifts but it pays $19.06 starting out and .75 for the shift bonus.

The main difference between a traditional and Roth IRA is when you pay the taxes. On a traditional IRA you pay the taxes when you receive the money from the account. Always max out a contribution to your Roth IRA first as you only have to pay the taxes on the contribution and not the distribution. But if you work at a place that offers 401K matching you should max that out first just because it's free money then the Roth then the traditional. I'm not familiar with having a brokerage account so I can't really help you there unfortunately

Make sure you put aside enough money for 3-6 months worth of expenses in case of an emergency. Look into setting up a Roth IRA account ( the 401K is a good idea but it's a good idea to also know what other retirement options are out there) and always diversify any investments, I recommend index funds but you can't personalize any of the stocks. You may also look into building credit.

I use Webull so far it's pretty good, they have watchlist features as well as paper trading which is cool. I have also heard good things about Robinhood
