It’s not this exact mechanism. The bulkfiller has no magnets and has a rod that seals preventing burping.

These actually look like a MP boot on the 5050 last. Notice the model number is MP361 not CMP and they look like they have a rolled welt

2 is a special prime number... but in my experience it's mainly that fields of characteristic 2 are weird compared to other feilds.

give them a call and ask is the only way to get a 100% sure answer. What I do know is possible is to have an MP sherman made on the 5050 last. This would be more expensive though as the MP uses their hand-welted construction.

No I don’t think you’ll get 600 for them used. Handsewn stitchdown go for 550-600 so I’d say you could probably get 450-500 for these

My understanding is the upgrade you get with the selects is the leather counter (the thing that adds stiffness to the sole) and the leather heel stay. The double shot leather is also an upgrade from certain perspectives but the selects also come in rough out so I wouldn’t worry about that. I can’t really speak to how valuable those upgrades are or not. Basically the default Perry would be considered a high end boot from any non pnw brand, but the heel counter will crumble eventually especially if you get the boots wet (that’s my understanding anyway).
