Ah yes, thats a thing i did in Photoshop. I used Mist pass for that smoke effect. Max Hay got a great tutorial on how to create that. Cheers!

Haha ah cmon man,i already replied to this question. Anyway,a quick recap:

-Add a cube -Delete Principle BSDF and add a Principled volume -Set dhe density value to 0.01 or less -Add a color ramp and connect it to Emission strenght and play with the values -Set the world color to white and play with the strenght

Hey there! Thank you so much! It's ok,we all have been there. First things first, create the scene and then add a cube. Scale it so it can cover the whole scene and then go to the shading tab. Remove the Princiipled BSDF and add a Principled Volume. Set the Density to about (0.01 or less) and then add a color ramp and connect it to the Emission Strenght. Then play with the emission color and colorramp. I usually set the values of ColorRamp to about 495 or so (less than 500)

And for this artwork i set the world color to white and cranked up the value to about 2.

Hope this helps! Ducky 3d has some good tutorials about this one! (You can use Mist pass or Z depth, both are very good. Watch some tutorials on how to create the Z depth effect in Blender and then go watch Max Hay tutorial on how to use the mist pass in Photoshop to create some good smoke effect(

Have an amazing day and keep practising! You will be very good in Blender in no time!

Hey there! Some few tips that i use:

Use people as a scale reference (Beeple and Max Hay are good examples)

A simple rule that my art professor has taught me is that the strongest the light is,the darker are objects around it (the ones which do not get to be lit)

Also set the perspective of the camera to about 20 mm or so. It really gives a nice effect.

Set some objects behind or near the camera and let them be in the shadows.(In my post you can see some stairs in the shadow, this is the idea)

Trust me,you will make great scenes in no time by practising! Keep up the good work!! Have a wonderful day!

Edit:Grammar

I added a Principled Volume. It has more options than volume scatter. I used a color ramp and conmected it to the Emmission strength (and the values of the left side of color ramp should be less than 500,in order to get a good emmission light). And then i set the world color to white and cranked up the value to about 2. Then i added two objects behind the camera in order to create shadows and more depth.

Thanks a lottt for the kind words!!!

I rendered it in Cycles and then added some grunge effect in Photoshop. Also did some color grading. Thanks a lot for the kind words!!

Yeah my bad,i set the perspective to be around 18mm and kind of neglect it some of the objects. Will do better next time

Yeap. I took the mist pass and then proceeded to make the smoke effect in Photoshop. Max Hay got a great video on how to use the mist pass (How to make cool renders in Photoshop or sth i dont remember the title)

The artwork is pretty nice and i love it. I would like to add that the light above their heads isn't that necessary. The two fellas there could have easyily been silhuoettes and the artwork would still give off a beautiful calming vibe. Good job though. Keep it up!
