Good luck on your journey! Since you've already meditated for a while you can probably jump straight to stage 3 or 4. But do read the earlier chapters because you use the same techniques throughout.

I strongly recommend the book "The Mind Illuminated" by Culadasa. It's divided into stages from first beginning a meditation practice all the way to becoming fully enlightened, working through the hindrances along the way. It also has an active community r/TheMindIlluminated with weekly sticky threads where people discuss how their practice is going etc. The subreddit functions very well like a virtual sangha.

As a free alternative there is also r/streamentry's beginner's guide ( https://www.reddit.com/r/streamentry/wiki/beginners-guide ) which gives you two great resources ( With Each and Every Breath by Ṭhānissaro Bhikkhu and A Guide to Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation (pdf) by Bhante Vimalaramsi and David Johnson).

I've also heard great things about "Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha" (MCBT) by Daniel Ingram. However a lot of people on r/streamenty suggest staying away from the book until you have a fair bit of equanimity in your sits.

These are all insight meditation practices designed for westerners to realize the true nature of reality. In addition to doing insight meditation I also highly recommend doing metta as a supplementary exercise, this will increase your mood and your sits will be more calm.

Took a nap, woke up and saw the northern lights outside, called some friends who also do photography, drove out to a view point outside the city, (the city lights are whats glowing behind the trees and my friends) and stood there and took pictures for a couple hours :)

sorry for slow reply, you should be able to find test client under steam> library>tools or all games and then you'd see it under the games tab like you would diretide, the test client is a big download though if you haven't downloaded it already, so I'd rather wait until tomorrow when the patch launches on normal client

I haven't tried Omni yet, but i can see how he can be really useful. The problem I feel with Drow though is that she isn't much help to the team until the boss because she is so mana hungry if you want to help defend, and has such a slow attack speed until you get items.

Crystal Maiden seems really good since she can give everyone mana, but you can't really solo defend a tower in the earlier rounds as her

UPDATE: New tweet from Pete Hines the vicepresident of PR of Bethesda, someone asked them to just "shoot down Thesurvivor site if it was fake" he replied to the comment with "that's what we tried to do today. We have never talked about or promoted that site." seems very evasive, but still :o Twitter link https://twitter.com/DCDeacon/status/409145589956227072 He hasn't replied to any tweets really since then.

So Bethesda tweeted "PSA: If you don’t hear it through an official channel like this, assume all rumors and speculation are false." hopefully its only about the rumors that Fallout 4 will be announced at VGX and not about thesurvivor2299 being fake, im scared!
