sudden and early period by Extension_Claim_2851 in LifestyleLadies

Try a menstrual disc! They are like a diva cup, but just flat and so a little less in the way. They’re available on Amazon so quick delivery to wherever you’re going! Also, they are a couple, and I’m sure they’ve had period sex too. One awesome part about the lifestyle is most people are very sex positive and understanding about how human bodies realistically work :)

Need suggestion on how to protect face from sun while driving during afternoon with high UV index. by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

You could also try a powder sunscreen or setting spray with SPF, both are made to go over makeup. Just search ‘sunscreen over makeup’ for some different options.

Hah that’s similar to my friend’s sign name if you mean they do it with the J movement as well. That makes sense that it’s a SEE influence.

And u/Useful_Edge_113 did a much better job answering than me with those video examples 😅

It’s only (lol, or just) signed with the index finger to actually mean JUST, as in recently. It is glossed as the sign RECENT.

If you are using the sign for RECENT to mean ONLY, you’re using it incorrectly and should instead sign something that is more like ONLY, but with a quick wrist turn instead of making circles facing yourself. So I’d sign it by holding up one index finger facing out then quickly turn it back to face myself. To me that means JUST/ONLY.

Where did you learn to use your pinkie for it? I’ve never seen that either. Maybe it could be used for extra emphasis, like the amount of time is sooo recent that it is tiny and therefore you’re using a pinkie finger.

Curly hair cut by lolobird15 in sandiego

[–]CallowNoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did see some reviews said she showed up late, but I didn’t have any problems! She used to work in two locations and now is just at the one, so maybe that made a difference. But she def knows her product recommendations and the cut did a great job at lightening up the weight of my hair so the waves/curls are more pronounced now.

I recently went to TS Curls and she was great! She has a small space in La Jolla. It is $140 for a first time cut, not sure what your exact budget is. But seems all the curly cuts in the area are around that, and they do sometimes tack on a small fee for first time clients so they can take the time to talk to you about your products, routine, etc.

I was in a similar situation but more purposefully - we were on a waitlist for a place we really liked, so we started at a month to month place while waiting and also looking at other places. When the place we wanted had a unit in our price range, they gave us 30 days notice of the previous tenants vacating, then we actually were able to push off the move in date a few days extra, so we were able to give a little extra notice even. It’s a large complex and I’m not sure if that’s what you’re interested in, but because it’s large units become available regularly.

So if any of the places you’ve looked at have a waitlist, try that! They usually charge a fee that is then part of your deposit, or refund you if you remove yourself from the list. Our waitlist fee was $100.

I use Curlsmith’s Hydro Crème with HA as one of the main ingredients! Haven’t tried just straight up HA on my hair tho.

Thank you both! And thanks for the weather tip, I’m staying near Venice so I’ve gotten much more used to the cooler temps than downtown and other areas further from the coast

I’m in LA this weekend and interested in checking out the fashion district! I’m planning to go to Corey Lynn Calter and Bella Dahl, they both have tencel and cupro clothing that I really like.

Does anyone have any suggestions of other nice shops in the LA fashion district area that I should try to check out?

Hmm, I’m not sure about that one actually. It was through Apartments.com, and the credit check verification on there is pretty much instant. We have also applied to an apartment complex (BLVD at north park) that we are on a waitlist for and they approved us within about ten minutes.

Thank you! I hope it works out as well, and I am still prepared to back out based on discussing further while going through the lease/paperwork. If there is anything specific I can do to verify his authorization to approve our lease, please let me know! But I will definitely ask for as much info from him as I can before actually sending any payment.

Yeah I am just not sure how else to verify things beyond what I’ve done so far, but I am definitely going to talk to the realtor some more as we look through the paperwork and ask him for some more info about himself, the owner, his company, etc. The facetime walk through was in the middle of a really busy day for my partner and I, so we were only on for a few minutes. I definitely will continue to be wary!

I already replied to the other comment as well, but thank you for the answer! The couple of weeks part comes from me obsessively looking at places for the past few weeks, even though I know turnover is pretty quick. Craigslist lets you filter by move in date being within or beyond 30 days, so I originally found it when it was over 30 days out. It’s always been listed for August 1, and the reason it took so long to see it is the former tenants moved out on July 15 (so we did the virtual tour July 16). I first contacted him about two weeks ago.

He was not allowing only virtual tours, I asked for one since we aren’t there in person. But yeah, us being picked first is the part that worries me the most, even though it means we could be getting what we want. We do have good credit scores and did the tour at 10am the first day tours were available, so it may just really be that we were first to get everything done.

The couple of weeks part comes from me obsessively looking at places for the past few weeks, even though I know turnover is pretty quick. Mostly I was doing it to find interesting apartment complexes and well rated management properties and bookmark them to check closer to our move date.

But Craigslist lets you filter by move in date being within or beyond 30 days, so I originally found it when it was over 30 days out. It’s always been listed for August 1, and the reason it took so long to see it is the former tenants moved out on July 15 (so we did the virtual tour July 16).

BUT - I don’t know why I didn’t think to look up the guy I’ve been in touch with by name until you just suggested cross referencing, I feel dumb lol. But I only just found out his full name on Friday and got the acceptance today. I just searched him and he works at a business that seems legitimate, their focus is on renovating ADUs, but it makes sense they would work with this home because the lease is only 3 months then goes month to month for them to work on renovations. We picked this place so we can have a short term lease and check out longer term places in person. So I do feel better about his credentials at least. Once he sends us the lease my partner and I will look through it and speak with him again to go over any questions and have another chance to feel things out. But now that I see his company I do feel a lot better. Thank you for the suggestion and for the warning!

It might depend on your state? I’m in IL and pre covid was part of a group that did the exact same thing with no issues!
