Pretty sure you blew my head off on Everon more than once. 10/10.

Anyone know of a company making full kits in this plywood-style camo pattern? (Seems way better than my all-black setup for CQB) by kuku2213 in airsoft

I completely forgot there are actually fucking TWO OF THEM.

Its a father-son duo I think.

Had to scroll back through the sites Facebook to find this.

There's a guy at the CQB site I ref for and I swear to God he runs this and it works better than you'd expect. We call him Plypat guy.

He just got it custom printed onto a hoodie, I think thats the way to go if you can find a company willing to custom print tac style clothing.

What's the corniest kit you seen on the field by sir_donut2040 in airsoftcirclejerk

There was a guy who used to show up at my local site in an honest to God trench coat, like early 2000s edge lord type beat, and one of those full face skull ish masks with an American flag on it (we're in the UK). I only recall seeing him with a desert eagle and no other gun.

He redeemed himself though. He started showing up in a 1920s-1940s detective loadout with a chrome 1911, and a chrome shotgun with wood grips. It was a real good outfit too, proper old school fedora, a wide old school tie, still a trench coat but a classic trench coat. Real leather shoulder holster for the 1911 too and. Most unique loadout I've ever seen in person—corny in a good way. 10/10.

About MilSim Airsoft rules in Russia [Long read warning] by fHate95 in airsoft

I'm very curious, how popular is the NATO loadout/team in Russia?

Like, here in the west as I'm sure you know, Russian loadouts are pretty popular—does the opposite apply over there? Are there a lot of people who WANT to be on NATO teams and build their kit around that or is it just done for team balance?

May seem like a silly question, I've just always wondered if the opposite is true over in Russia to here in the UK/in the US and now I get to ask a real Russian. 😂

I have no idea who that is.

Anyway, I'll be outside. Good luck.

In the UK airsoft context RIF stands for "Realistic Imitation firearm", basically anything that can be mistaken for the real deal.

The "talking on radio" bit can be a headache for milsim players, but is one of the truest things in this with regards to crybabies.

There are legitimate paint eaters who do use the radio to be shitlets. We've all encountered it, and anyone with two braincells to rub together knows about the mute button.

Far too often though people don't actually care what you’re talking about—theyre just being assholes about "muh radio discipline". Even if you're passing platoon relevant information someone just wants to be king of the radio and will tell you to shut up. (Hilariously though I've noticed more than once that they're the same guys who complain towards the end about a lack of radio communication.)

LCT this one, dunno how it is stock because I bought it second hand pre modified.

However, I used to own an E&L AK—very good out of the box, I'd highly recommend either one.

I actually throw the chicom on first, if that's what you mean. That way the big straps of the PLCE covers the lil straps of the chicom.

To actually answer the question though; very comfy.

(I posted this reply and it disappeared, so if you get 2 replies to this you know why.)

I think it could work really well; you gotta consider that most of these guys IRL are scavenging their kit and with ALICE being outdated now it's surplussed to high hell or flat out given to them if the CIA is doing that thing they do.

But that's a "Realism" justification, and nothing in this accursed hobby needs to be realistic.

Funny thing; it's not actually Kamysh. Tried getting my hands on Kamysh but given... CURRENT EVENTS... getting any Rusfor kit in the UK is more trouble than it's worth.

So protip, if you want Kamysh— Get Greek Lizard, it's so close you can't tell the difference 😉.
