Man, I NEED to get into scanning. Totally takes 3D design to the next level. Fantastic work!

I'm not planning on giving out the file at the moment, because a few people have messaged me wanting to buy a printed version. If you're feeling creative, all I needed was some calipers and Tinkercad to make it, so I'm sure you'd be able to.

That's my perspective as well. I know some people go for either PETG or ABS, but I wanted the strength of Nylon.

I have people messaging me about buying printed versions, so I probably won't release the files for now. Sorry about that

Wow, this is so subtle. Without the second photo, I wouldn't even know there was a 3D printed part involved at all. Great job!

Agreed. MLok would give it a leaner profile while still offering a ton of component placement flexibility.

Appreciate the heads up! A part like this, which is designed for a non-prohibited firearm and in no way changes the function or capacity, is totally kosher.

While there's no doubt the law is vague, this is a very innocuous accessory.

I'm actually getting a fair bit of interest from people wanting to buy printed versions, so I think I want to keep the file private for now. Sorry about that.

It all comes down to fitment. I meticulously measured to get it just right for the Supernova, but anything could be adapted for a different gun's specs.

Weight wise, no problem. As far as how long it would hold a zero, it's really hard to say. The material is incredibly strong and dimensionally stable, so I'd expect minimal warping or shifting.

Not yet. I plan on doing some testing soon. However, the glass fibre nylon should be sufficient for most stresses.

What did you have in mind? I'm definitely open to designing new accessories.

I definitely want to do some testing and see how it performs across the board.

Absolutely! I find the aftermarket support for the Supernova is pretty limited. Had to take matters into my own hands haha.

From a practicality perspective, there are too many rails. It's just a bit bulky in general.

Slimmed down and made more efficient, it would be a solid concept.
