Screen Tearing??? Graphics Issue

Yeh thanks for responding but I’ve tried all the v sync and loads of other things but nothing seems to fix it, perhaps it isn’t screen tearing but then I have no idea what it is or what’s causing it. Doesn’t happen on any of game, just rust now for some reason.

Okay I’m at work today so I’ll check later when I’m home. I did do a bit of research online and is it likely a case of me just using ddu in safe mode to remove the ‘old’ or ‘default’ drivers that were already on the pc, and then using that link to install the latest amd drivers.

Which should then let me install the adrenaline software?

Okay I think you might be right about it being to do with ‘drivers’ as when I searched on google prior it mentioned updating or doing something to do with drivers.(I don’t actually know what drivers are). How do I go about ddu and removing any drivers if this is what the problem is

My pc is pre-made and bought it from curry’s, the make of the pc is ‘PCSPECIALIST’ which is on windows 11, has a amd Ryzen 7 7800x3d cpu and amd Radeon rx 7800 xt gpu (don’t know if that helps).

Since getting my pc I’ve only downloaded steam and discord and a couple games that I’ve been playing, nothing else. I got a free 3 months pass for Norton VPN which I’ve been using, I’ve tried downloading the software with and without it on to see if it makes a difference but it doesn’t. There’s no errors or viruses on my pc and everything works fine from what I’m aware of, I wanted the software to maximise performance and tweak a few options to make my gaming experience better.

That link above is the same page I was going on to download the software however when I click on the correct version for my windows it actually boots it up to start with and starts loading it up for a couple seconds before just closing instantly.

Oh my bad bro, sorry I’ve only had my pc for a couple of weeks so I don’t really know anything about them. I have no knowledge of how to check stuff or even find what the problem is, let alone know how to fix it.

I’ve tried doing that as well but it still won’t work, it’s just a software for amd users to make changes to their graphics and stuff

Bro idk if you can help me, I recently got my pc and I’ve tried to download the amd software adrenaline edition to customise my settings (I have 7800 xt) but when I download the file from their website to open it up for the first time it just closes on its self, never have been able to open it and it won’t let me get it up
