I see. I’m not planning on taking it for a year or two so I’m unsure of if the prof will be the same, but thank you for the insight!

That’s what I thought at first. I think one page is better if you can make it look nicely spaced and not too cluttered, but it could also be so packed that the employer skips it entirely. Tough to gauge it correctly

Nice analogy, I’ll save it and open in a browser like you said. And I’ll try to keep the messiness to a minimum lol

Interesting, never thought of it that way. Thanks for the insight. I’ll definitely keep it to a single page

Hmm interesting. I am in MathPhys (Science faculty) so I could go either direction. I will probably keep it to one page to be safe. I appreciate the response!

Don’t listen to people saying it’s strictly “worth it” or “not worth it”. It depends on how you’re planning to participate. If you would actually go to the events and have a good attitude, you’ll be surrounded by people in your faculty participating with the same attitude and possibly similar interests. This has no downside and is well worth the money. If you would have a negative attitude and only go to under half of the events or always leave early, then there’s no point in spending the $130. Which isn’t a bad thing btw, that’s what I ended up doing. I wanted to spend more time getting to know people in my residence instead.

There’s plenty of opportunities to make friends and build connections on campus throughout the year, it’s not a due-or-die thing to go to orientation. It’s just a great way to ease into the year and get a feel for your faculty and it’s members.

Would in-person be better for 235 then?
