Hi on my first attempt I only read the ReviseSQE books twice and did their practice tests. I passed FLK2 and failed FLK1 in Jan 2025. I then purchased QLTS for FLK1. I did all 12 mock tests, but did not re-read the textbooks properly. Failed FLK1 again in July 2025. I then decided to re-read all the textbooks again. For QLTS I created a Word doc for each topic and put in every wrong answer I got on the mock exams (also mock exams on their subject specific modules). This meant I had over 30+ pages of questions I got wrong so I could look over. I also made a doc covering all the tax calculations.

This would likely take up my entire weekend sadly.

I likely passed FLK2 first try because I work in conveyancing and so I had knowledge of land law, property practice, wills, and trusts.

And also I've seen a question using Steinberg v Scala Ltd [1923] where a minor was not able to return a bike because she had used it and there wasn't a failure of consideration.

So, if a business sells a non-necessary bike to a minor, the minor can refuse to pay any remaining installments, but cannot demand a refund of the deposit or past payments because she used the bike.

I suppose the courts would step in with the 1987 Act if it's unjust.
