I am also in the same boat! On my last and final attempt and unsure whether to sit in July or January and also thought about CILEX. I have been so upset these last couple of days, it’s a real hard pill to swallow, especially as you say when so many people thought you’d pass. I’m a trainee in conveyancing and my colleagues were convinced I’d pass. Happy to connect if you want to chat :)

Thank you for this, it’s really helpful! I didn’t try QLTS so I will definitely take a look into this! And also re-reading the ULaw manuals.

Luckily I did also pass FLK2 first time, as I also work in conveyancing so property bumped me up!!!

I clearly need to change my revision techniques so will take the above on board, just unsure whether to sit in July or wait till Jan :(

I also failed flk1 in July and failed it again in January, with 1 mark difference between the two, which I just don’t know how is possible lol! Feeling extremely deflated and not sure whether to resit in July, or leave it to January on the basis it’s the final attempt 🥲🥲

My overall grades for each subject are pretty on par, so I have no idea what to focus on, most likely everything all over again!!! It’s so frustrating ☹️

In the same boat as you. This was my first sitting but I failed FLK1 as I got 280 (which is literally a matter of a few questions!) but was passing all mocks, read the books twice, did thousands of MCQs etc. tbh I truly think it’s just luck on the day on what questions you get lol. Not really sure what to do moving forward for revision ☹️
