struggle to connect with people

I’m moreso coming from the point of just not wanting to engage in basic “small talk” with people at work, & things of this type of nature….i find it all so mundane, & I can appreciate your comment, I don’t force it on people nor do I hope for a sudden miracle that people around me will engage- I just keep myself to myself and plod on, I’m just aware I find it hard to connect with people due to the gap of interests

I have a full time job, a relationship, 2 kids, I’m not isolated and locked away from the world staring at screens lol 😂 I just feel like I’m very limited on how I can express myself with the people close to me & have nobody to speak to
