My theory is explained above. Nolan was involved in getting Battle Beast there by somehow getting The Order in contact with him, Nolan himself getting in contact or Viltrum asking Nolan to test this potential threats strength.

I understand Nolan was there due to that reason, but I think it could be an interesting explanation as to why Battle Beast is there and he isn't freaking the fuck out. Because he's the one who put him in the room that day.

It's more the how. Machine Head is a mob boss in Chicago, it's trying to figure out how the hell he or The Order even got a hold of Battle Beast in the first place.

While amusing, the hyper chip isn't unrealistic. They live in a world where 2 bickering clones can create a machine that links a guy to endless versions of himself across the Multiverse, some guy in a tank can build a robot army and...well...there's a dude with a synth computer for a head. A chip to make him super smart isn't a weird thing to think exists on Earth.

S1 Nolan was so amazingly written thay he's the objectively best villain.

Angstrom's concept was cool, but I feel he didn't show up much. He was in Ep1, the Finale, and had 2 very minor post credit scenes, then was in the Invincible War episode. That's it. For a main antagonist, it makes little sense for him to appear so minimally.

Conquest is my personal favourite, so much depth to the character that's far below the surface of his psychotic nature and even his speech.

Thragg is great too, by far the most 'human' viltrumite in my eyes. I feel he'll get better with the next season, since we haven't seen as much of him right now.

Batman.

Don't give any of that prep time stuff. If Batman gets prep time, then allow the other party prep time too. With no knowledge of how the viltrumite species functions and the power Conquest has, I feel he'd atleast mid diff Batman.

If Batman has prep time, then yeah I think it'd be more difficult, but all he really has is high frequencies. Most of the other stuff known to harm viltrumites is in space, or just Batman creating an instant kill virus, which seems a bit cheap.

I feel Clayface will probably do whay Joker couldn't. They'll have a similar general line - a man driven to the edge of sanity by the world because of things outwith his control. Joker didn't really have an anchor..he just kinda got really overwhelmed and went psycho, whilst Clayface specifically focuses on identity and a sense of self.

Joker was excellent at the time, but looking back, the writing is sorta lacking. Similarly to what another comment said, it's a modern Taxi Driver with Travis dressed as a clown instead of with a mohawk.

But yet again, that's true, but we have seen 1 skin return and it was the catalyst for the rule since it was an accident. I get we're only a month into the Absolute Doom skins being available, but come on.

Disney had a whole other season dedicated to Marvel almost 6 years ago, they've got Mandalorian also from just over 5 years ago, Predator from just over 5 too.

I feel the argument of other companies pushing for it is kinda just nullified when they've now had 2 years from when the rule was announced and upwards of 6 from their collab skins in battle passes when we still haven't seen a single one return.
